Description: Custom campaign theme for Jeanine Adams for Kern County Board of Education, Trustee Area 7. Full custom build (not a page builder): Home, About, Issues, Get Involved, Events, Contact. Donations accepted via an external processor link (no QR code); native WordPress contact form (no form plugin required).
Version: 2.3.0
Requires at least: 6.0
Requires PHP: 7.4
License: Proprietary — for campaign use only
Text Domain: j4a

Changelog:
2.3.0 — Added a real Posts page: home.php (blog index, used when Settings → Reading → "Posts page" is set), archive.php (category/tag/date archives — one category per district recommended), and single.php (individual post view). index.php simplified to the final fallback (mainly search results). All three share a j4a_post_card() component (title, date, category badges, excerpt, read more) and j4a_posts_pagination().
2.2.0 — Removed the Donate button/donation-interest flow entirely (no processor decided yet) — every former Donate button now points to the Contact page instead, folding donation interest into the "Donation question" topic on that page's form. Contact page headline changed to "Want To Help" to reflect its broader scope (volunteer, yard sign, general question, press, donation inquiry all in one place).
2.1.0 — Donate buttons defaulted to an on-site "leave your info" lead-capture form (/donate/) instead of any link, since no donation processor/receipt mechanism was set up. Superseded by 2.2.0 above.
2.0.0 — Rebuilt: removed QR code and all QR-related assets/code; removed all Anedot references (theme never hard-codes a processor name); replaced plugin-dependent placeholder forms with a native PHP contact form (wp_mail + nonce + honeypot, no plugin required).
1.0.0 — Initial theme delivery.
